Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Peekly when you use the app.
The short version
- Peekly shows you analytics for creator accounts that you own and choose to connect. It is read-only and never posts for you.
- Peekly is independent. Each platform you connect has its own terms, which still apply to you, including the YouTube Terms of Service.
- The figures come from the platforms, and some are estimates. Treat them as a guide.
- You can stop at any time and have your data deleted.
About these terms
Peekly is a creator analytics app for iPhone, operated by Jawad Rafiq Haider (“Peekly”, “we”, “us”). These terms are the agreement between you and us. By creating an account or using Peekly you accept them. If you do not agree, please do not use Peekly.
Peekly is an independent product. It is not part of, endorsed by or affiliated with YouTube, Google, TikTok, Meta, Instagram, Facebook, Threads or Apple. Their names are used only to say which accounts Peekly can read.
How we handle your data is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Who can use Peekly
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You may connect only accounts that are yours, or that you are authorised to manage, and you must meet each platform’s own rules for holding that account.
Your account
You sign in with Sign in with Apple. Keep your Apple account and your device secure, because anyone who can open Peekly on your device can see your analytics. Tell us at hello@getpeekly.app if you think someone else has used your account.
Connecting your platforms
You connect a platform by signing in on that platform’s own page and approving the access Peekly asks for. Peekly asks only for permission to read. It cannot post, edit or delete anything on your accounts, and it never receives your platform password.
Each platform’s own terms continue to apply to you while you use it through Peekly:
- YouTube. Peekly uses YouTube API Services. By using Peekly, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service (opens in a new tab). Google’s handling of your information is described in the Google Privacy Policy (opens in a new tab).
- TikTok. The TikTok Terms of Service (opens in a new tab) apply.
- Instagram, Facebook and Threads. The Meta Terms of Service (opens in a new tab) and the Instagram Terms of Use (opens in a new tab) apply when you connect those accounts. Connecting them is not offered in the app yet.
You can withdraw Peekly’s access at any time in each platform’s settings. The links are on the Delete your data page.
What the numbers mean
- Peekly shows what the platforms report. Platforms can be late, can revise their figures, and can change or withdraw what they make available. Peekly may therefore differ from what you see in a platform’s own app.
- Some figures are Peekly’s own estimates, including projections of future growth and subscriber totals for days before you connected. They are not a promise of results.
- Insights, alerts and reports are produced automatically, and reports may be worded with the help of an AI model. They can be wrong. They are information to help you decide, not professional, financial or legal advice.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- Connect an account you do not own or are not authorised to manage.
- Try to reach another person’s data, or get around Peekly’s security or limits.
- Copy, scrape, resell or reverse-engineer the service, or use it to build a competing dataset.
- Overload or disrupt the service, or use it to break the law or a platform’s rules.
Your content and data
Your posts and your analytics remain yours and the platforms’. You give us permission to collect, store and process them only as needed to provide Peekly to you, as described in the Privacy Policy. We claim no other rights over them.
The Peekly app, its design and its software belong to us. You may use them to view your own analytics. Nothing else is licensed to you.
Price
Peekly does not currently charge. If that changes, we will tell you the price and the terms before you are asked to pay anything.
Changes and availability
Peekly depends on each platform’s API and on our own providers, so we cannot promise it will always be available or free of errors. We may add, change or remove features.
A platform can limit, suspend or end Peekly’s access to its API. If that happens we must stop using that platform’s data and delete it, so we may remove that platform’s features and the data collected from it, including your YouTube data, without notice where the platform requires it.
Ending your use
You can stop using Peekly at any time. To have your account and data deleted, follow the steps on the Delete your data page.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, puts the service or other people at risk, or that a platform or the law requires us to close. Where we can, we will tell you first and explain why.
Our responsibility to you
We provide Peekly with reasonable care, but otherwise “as is”. We do not promise that the figures are complete or accurate, that the service will be uninterrupted, or that using it will grow your audience or income.
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, for lost profits, revenue or data, or for anything caused by a platform or another third party. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Indonesia. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country you live in, and you may bring a claim in its courts.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when the current version took effect. If a change is significant we will draw attention to it here before it applies. If you keep using Peekly after a change takes effect, you accept the updated terms.
